Erythrocyte-Reduced Glutathione in Megaloblastic Anemia

The concentration of erythrocyte-reduced glutathione (GSH) was measured in the blood of twenty-three patients with megaloblastic anemias. The level was higher than in a normal control population, and returned to normal three to four weeks after the peak reticulocyte response.
