Rational Use of Skim Milk in a Complete Infant Formula

II. Clinical Study in Premature Infants

A simply prepared formula containing skim milk powder, sucrose, and coconut and corn oils in proportions simulating human milk composition was shown to promote growth in 30 premature infants equal to that seen in 34 infants fed a commerically prepared modified milk.
