Interrelationship between the Influences of Dietary Carbohydrates and Fats on Fasting Serum Lipids

Diets containing sucrose or glucose and cream or sunflower-seed oil were given to five healthy men for 5 days.

Results showed that there is an interplay between dietary carbohydrates and fats on the effects these compounds have on the concentration and composition of the lipids of fasting serum.
