Differences in Stature and Cortical Thickness among Highland Quechua Indian Boys

The stature, bone cortical area, percentage of cortical area, and length of the second metacarpal of 80 Peruvian Quechua boys from Vicos show a significant reduction when compared with their Quechua counterparts from Nuñoa. The causes of these differences are not clear.
