Human nutrition in France

J. Trémolières M.D.

Human nutrition is developing with very little support from the university or federal government. It is evolving of its own impetus. The forces behind its evolution are the development of the food industry, concern for public health, the interest in collective feeding, the progress made in medicine, and a new conception of biology. It is now at an adolescent stage, and therefore very promising. In another article an outline will be given of the work that is now in progress.
