Effects of chromium supplementation on growth in marasmic protein-calorie malnutrition

The effect of chromium supplementation on growth in marasmic protein-calorie malnutrition was investigated on 28 cases. It was found that the weight gain in the chromium-responder group showed a statistically significant difference in comparison with the non-responders and controls.
