Erratum

In the article "Control of brain monoamine synthesis by diet and plasma amino acids" by Richard J. Wurtman and John D. Fernstrom, Am. J. Clin. Nutr. 28: 638-647, 1975 there is an error. On page 646 the first sentence under Brain tyrosine and catecholamine synthesis should read: The Km of the enzyme tyrosine hydroxylase is on the same order of magnitude as the concentration of this amino acid in whole brain (39) (Table 2).

This error is sincerely regretted.
