Corrections

In the article, "Selenium deficiency with total parenteral nutrition: reversal of biochemical and functional abnormalities by selenium supplementation: a case report", by Baker SS, et al, Am J Clin Nutr 1983; 38: 769-74, three errors occurred. The first error is that Dr Robert H Lerman, the second author on the paper, should have a PhD in addition to the MD listed behind his name. The fifth author, Irwin F Hirsch, MD, had his name misspelled on the publication. It was spelled as Hirsh, but should have been spelled Hirsch. Finally, the legends for the figures were confused. Figure 1 was stimulation of HMPS by L-amino acid oxidase plus L-leucine. This legend appeared under what should have been Figure 3. The legend for Figure 3 appeared under what should have been Figure 2. The legend for Figure 2 appeared under what should have been Figure 1.
