Erratum

D-S Liu, CJ Bates, T-A Yin, X-B Wang, C-Q Lu. Nutritional efficacy of a fortified weaning rusk in a rural area near Beijing. Am J Clin Nutr 1993;57:506-11. The energy content of the weaning rusk, listed in Table 1, page 507, should be 16.8 kJ/g (285 kJ/rusk). The sugar component was 39% of the total carbohydrate by weight. The energy contribution of the starch content was not included in the published energy calculation.
